Creating Engaging Early Childhood Literacy Centers

Foundational literacy skills and resources.

Literacy Centers are fundamental to starting our youngest learners off with the skills needed for success as readers and writers, listeners and speakers. Centers should be meaningful, motivational, and engaging to build a love of literacy right from the start. This webinar explores early literacy skills, and how to create centers that encourage exploration and learning with developmentally-appropriate resources and furnishings.

After this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Define literacy
  • Name the five foundational reading skills
  • Align literacy skills to resources
  • Create meaningful literacy centers
