Diving into the Early Childhood Daily Routine
A look at the components of a developmentally appropriate daily routine in an early childhood classroom
In an early childhood classroom a daily routine is important because it helps children to know what to expect each day. This allows children to feel a sense of security which in turn supports them in being ready to learn. This session will explain what a daily routine is, why it is important, its key components and how to use a visual schedule to support its implementation.
